Opened in November 2008, Hawke & Hunter has already taken its place amongst Edinburgh’s elite venues. Our unique attractions include a stunning dining room serving traditional Scottish food with a modern twist, three luxurious, individually-designed boutique hotel rooms, a room dedicated to the pursuit of whisky, a buzzing cocktail bar with resident and guest DJs, a secluded billiards room, and a secret garden, home to year-round outdoor eating and drinking.

Hawke & Hunter occupies all five floors of a Georgian townhouse right in the middle of Edinburgh. We are less than a minute’s walk from the Playhouse, one of Edinburgh’s premier theatres, only five minutes walk from Waverley train station, Princes Street and its gardens and the exclusive shops of George Street, and just a short bus ride away from Leith, the West End and the Royal Mile. Many of the building’s original features have been restored and preserved but they have also been updated with specially-commissioned art and hand-crafted furniture
