This Artist is Deeply Dangerous
The nomadic Grey Gallery has arrived in Hawke and Hunter. Founded by artist Jock McFadyen and his partner, musician Susie Honeyman, the Grey Gallery is exhibiting the latest work by Patrick Brill, better known as the fictive artistic due Bob and Roberta Smith. Brill’s trademark brightly coloured lettering is the style of the 9 pieces on display at Hawke and Hunter, each depicting words from an article on Louise Bourgeois by Guardian sports writer Steve Bierley.
The work will be on display in the main bar in Hawke and Hunter from 6th August to 5th September between 11am and 6pm. Cream teas and coffees will be served from 12pm – 4pm in the main bar, along with our £5 lunch deal and dinner menu in the main restaurant.
