News and Events
The Business Mixer event continues to go from strength to strength with attendees ranging from corporate, new starts, growing businesses and professional services.
Feedback on our last event and speakers in ‘The Cocktail Bar’ has been excellent and following many requests the theme for our April event will be ‘Social Media as a business tool’.
The following speakers have been confirmed for our social media panel: Scott Douglas from Holyrood PR, Colin Gilchrist from Digital Face and Sam Collins from ‘Bloop’ an upcoming social media application which will be launched later this year. There will also be a fourth speaker who has yet to be confirmed and we will keep you updated.
So we do hope you can join us for this contemporary debate in one of Edinburgh’s most stylish venue.
Tickets are £25 which includes a glass of champagne on arrival, two drinks and some great food.
If you would like to book your place or require more information please call Hawke and Hunter reservations on 01315570952 or email reservations@browntaylor.co.uk.

Looking forward to what should be an entertaining and informative discussion.
If you would like to know more about my background in Social Media I have a personal site: http://www.socialtailor.com that looks at that part of my experience, or of course http://www.twitter.com/colingilchrist or the blog: http://www.colingilchrist.com.
I met up with Scott Douglas yesterday, we have a mutual friend and have known of each other for 10 years, a founding partner at Holyrood PR and if you have your own business and not come across them you’re missing a trick – Sam Collins I met for the first time a couple of months ago, in my opinion an academic entrepreneur who’s on the cusp of some exciting mobile activity. We look forward to saying hello and sharing our knowledge.
